Effective July 6, 2026 · Interim policy

PEONY is operated by PEONY Family, Inc. (“PEONY,” “we,” “us”). PEONY helps people understand and navigate the many paths to parenthood. This interim policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have — in plain language, on purpose. A fuller version, reviewed by counsel, will be published as PEONY launches.

What We Collect

What you give us. When you join the Founding Circle: your email, your state, and optionally the path(s) to parenthood you're interested in. If you contact us, we keep what you send.

Collected automatically. Standard usage data (device, browser, pages visited) through our hosting platform.

Health-Related Data

Some of what you share — including the path to parenthood you're exploring — may be treated as “consumer health data” under laws such as Washington's My Health My Data Act. We collect it only to provide the guidance you ask for, with your consent. We do not sell it, and we do not share it for advertising.

Cookies and Tracking

We do not use third-party advertising trackers. Our hosting platform may set essential cookies and collect standard usage data. You can control cookies through your browser.

How We Use Your Information

To operate the Founding Circle and tell you when PEONY launches; to send The PEONY Monthly and updates you've asked for (unsubscribe anytime); to personalize guidance to your state and path; and to improve our content and keep our services secure.

How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us run PEONY (such as email delivery and hosting), under agreements that limit their use, and when required by law. Some providers listed on PEONY may pay for listings or educational events. We never share your personal information as part of those arrangements, and we never take referral or success-based fees.

Your Choices and Rights

Unsubscribe from any email using its link. Ask us to access, correct, or delete your information at privacy@peony.family — we'll respond within 45 days. California residents have additional rights under the CCPA/CPRA, including the right to know, correct, delete, and limit use of sensitive information; we will not discriminate against you for exercising them.

Data Retention

We keep your information while your interest is active, then delete it when you unsubscribe or ask us to.

Security

We use reasonable measures to protect your information; no system is perfectly secure. If an incident affects your personal information, we'll notify you and regulators as required by law.

Children

PEONY is for adults (18+) and is not directed to children. We don't knowingly collect information from children.

Changes and Contact

If we update this policy, we'll post the new version here with a new effective date. Questions: privacy@peony.family.
